WSU Cultivating Success
With education as one of our key programs at 21 Acres, we are very pleased that we will be partners with Washington State University at our farm. Not only does this mean that WSU employees will be onsite to give advice and to offer expertise, but it also means that we will be collaborating with the University’s Small Farms Team and King County Extension Office to host students at our site for classes, to administer and evaluate field tests, and even to host graduates from the popular Cultivating Success class series at our site for incubation, mentoring, and common marketing strategies. It is Growing Washington’s hope that our presence and energy at 21 Acres will turn our incubation farm into the host and catalyst that hatches a new generation of farmers in an increasingly urban landscape.spr
